The Los Angeles Chargers have placed center Will Clapp on injured reserve following their game against the Las Vegas Raiders last week. The team has signed lineman Brent Laing to the practice squad and also has signed Cameron Tom from the practice squad.

A handful of Eagles cuts were reported on Saturday and the team officially announced seven roster moves on Sunday. In addition to the previously reported releases of tackle Dennis Kelly, guard Josh Andrews, tight end Dan Arnold, and tackle Brett Toth, the Eagles also released wide receiver Deon Cain and center Cameron Tom.

With Jason Kelce expected back for the season opener, the Philadelphia Eagles are releasing veteran center Cameron Tom per Aaron Wilson. Tom began his NFL career in 2017 in New Orleans, spending most of the 2017 and 2018 seasons on the Saints’ practice squad before suffering an injury in 2019.

This may come across as snarky, or silly for some, but I am legitimately excited for Cameron Tom to get a shot to impress those that might promote him further, he is just promoted to the active roster for the time being.
