Chicago Blackhawks forward Daniel Carcillo has been suspended for six games, without pay, for cross-checking Winnipeg Jets forward Mathieu Perreault on Friday.
Carcillo is considered a repeat offender under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and will forfeit $40,243.92.

Here’s a shock – Daniel Carcillo is at the center of yet another controversial play the NHL is going to have to review. With the puck no where near the two players, Carcillo skated behind Mathieu Perreault and delivered a brutal cross check to the arm of the Winnipeg forward.
