The Sacramento Kings will be without starting point guard Darren Collison for at least another month following surgery. ESPN reports Collison will undergo surgery at some point next week to repair a “core muscle injury” after he has missed the last seven games. There’s a chance he will not able to return this season.

Darren Collison will have surgery on Tuesday to repair a core muscle injury that will likely end his season.
Collison suffered a strained hip flexor on Feb. 5 and hasn't played since.
Collison will be re-evaluated three to six weeks after the surgery and there is no timetable for his return.
