No Hope For AEW If Tony Khan Is In Charge Claims Eric Bischoff
AEW

As long as Tony Khan is running AEW, former WCW President Eric Bischoff does not see any hope for the promotion.

In a strange move, AEW decided to air the backstage footage between CM Punk and Jack Perry from All In. There was no audio and while Punk seemed like the aggressor, the video is open to interpretation. This was done as a direct shot to Punk’s comments on The MMA Hour. Although, AEW claims they are doing this to further the upcoming FTR vs The Young Bucks match.

No matter the reasoning, it got fans talking and also increased viewership. Still, some see this as a low move by AEW that could cost them down the line. On Wise Choices, Eric Bischoff ripped AEW and called for change. “I’ll normally get on here [and I’ll try to point out from my perspective], a different approach for Dynamite to take,” said Bischoff. “Perhaps, a different approach for Tony Khan to take, but I’m at a loss. I don’t think there’s any hope. I honestly don’t think there’s any hope for AEW as long as Tony Khan’s in charge.”

AEW Starting To Look Like WCW

One a few occasions, Bischoff appeared on AEW TV. Since then, he has been nothing but critical of the company. Therefore, do not luck for him to be invited again to TV. Sometimes, Bischoff makes valid points while also stretching his opinion. Personally, I do think he has a point about Khan. It seems like the inmates are running the asylum.

It is ironic Bischoff is telling Khan how to run his company. Bischoff became a regular name in the wrestling cycle for nearly putting WWE out of business with WCW. He made WCW so much money, but within about two years the company was worth nothing a Vince McMahon purchased it. So, is Eric Bischoff bullying Tony Khan at this point or does he have some valid points?
