AC Milan trio Theo Hernandez, Rafael Leao and Mike Maignan are among the most valuable players in the world in their respective positions, mixing with some of the biggest names in the sport.

Transfermarkt recently updated their player valuations which offers an insight into where Milan’s players rank among the best in the world in their positions.

Leao will be very pleased with his standing on the list of left-wingers, as the only player in that role with a higher market value than him is Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr.

The Brazilian has a value of €150m, and then there is a drop down to Leao at €90m. He has moved above Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli, and is ahead of players like Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Kingsley Coman and Luis Diaz.

The fight to be the most valuable goalkeeper is mich tighter, with Maignan in sixth place with a value of €40m. Porto’s Diogo Costa is top, but he is only worth €5m more than Maignan, who is attracting a lot of attention. From Gianluigi Donnarumma in second to Maignan in sixth, the value is the same.

Finally, Hernandez is now the joint-most valuable left-back in the world with him, Nuno Mendes and Alphonso Davies all having a value of €60m.
