Tottenham have ‘set their eyes’ on highly-rated duo ahead of the summer window

Tottenham Hotspur are keen on acquiring the services of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Riccardo Calafiori as they look to bolster their squad.

Ange Postecoglou has had an impressive first season at the club as Tottenham are within touching distance of a place in the Champions League. While the Australian boss is keen on finishing the season on a high, people at the club have started planning for the upcoming summer transfer window.

The North London club are looking at ways to further bolster their squad and they have ‘set their eyes’ on the highly rated duo of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Riccardo Calafiori as per a report by Fichajes.

Dewsbury-Hall has had an impressive season in the Championship with Leicester City while Calafiori has made a name for himself with his exceptional defensive output at Bologna.

With Pierre-Emile Højbjerg all set to leave the club in the summer, Spurs are looking at Dewsbury-Hall as someone who will join the midfield rotation alongside Rodrigo Bentancur and Yves Bissouma. The 25-year-old’s arrival will add depth to their ranks and they are willing to fork out between £30 and £40 million to sign him.

Meanwhile, Postecoglou has already made a few key signings in the heart of the defence over the past two windows and once again they are expected to push for a central defender this summer. 21-year-old Riccardo Calafiori has impressed the people at the club with his consistent performances for Bologna and they are looking to add him to their ranks.

He will add more depth and will be a part of the defensive rotation alongside Cristian Romero, Micky Van de Ven and Radu Dragusin. Calafiori’s potential is what attracts Tottenham, they feel he could be a great signing for the short as well as the long term.
