In his debut season, he played in 18 league matches and managed to keep eight clean sheets. In addition, he recorded 560 minutes in a row without conceding a goal, an impressive feat for any goalkeeper. This prompted Los Che to sign him on a permanent deal.

In the 2022/23 campaign, his continued great performances have caught the attention of a number of top clubs around Europe. Despite signing a contract extension in September 2022, it is looking increasingly likely that the short-stopper will leave the Spanish club in the summer.
