Lille coach Fonseca concedes Brighton target Baleba 'could leave'

Brighton and Hove Albion target Carlos Baleba could still leave his club this month.

Baleba, who plays for Lille in the French Ligue 1, is a big target for the Premier League club.

Brighton are flush with money after selling Moises Caicedo, with Lille coach Paulo Fonseca admitting his prospect could move on before the window closes.

Fonseca told reporters this week: We must concentrate on the match [2-1 win over Rijeka on Thursday in Europa Conference League play-offs.

I know there is a possibility that Carlos will leave but today he is with us here.

He will be in the match. He has to be concentrated on our match because he is here.

I have spoken with Carlos. He is very motivated to be part of the group for this match."
