Juventus will search for experience if Adrien Rabiot doesn’t renew his contract and are ready to go after Jorginho, who’s in the same situation and will probably depart Arsenal. The Gunners are unlikely to pick up their option to keep him. The midfielder would like to return to Italy after several seasons in England, TodoFichajes informs.

The Bianconeri could tender a three-year deal, which would be the final one in Europe for the veteran. He has featured 35 times this campaign, scoring once and providing 2 assists. He joined in January 2023 in a €11M move after a long stint with Chelsea.

Juventus could potentially be the fourth Italian team for Jorginho after Sambonifacese, Verona and Napoli. The maestro has had a regular role in the last few months. He has fared well in his latest performance with Italy. He’s likely to be called up for the Euro.

Arsenal have different plans for the position. The 32-year-old hasn’t started in the last four Premier League rounds. He wasn’t too convincing versus Bayern Munich.

Our Take on Juventus and Jorginho

As their chase of Felipe Anderson demonstrates, they won’t go young in every position, nor should they, especially if they don’t have to pay a fee. On the other hand, he’d make more sense if they stuck with Massimiliano Allegri, which is unlikely. He wouldn’t be the most straightforward fit for Thiago Motta’s schemes, who doesn’t use a deep-lying playmaker.
