Matias Soulé will be back at Juventus in the summer but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll be part of their squad next season. The team has communicated to his entourage that the primary intent is for him to stay. However, large offers will still be properly mulled, TyC Sports informed (via OneFootball).

The Old Lady will contemplate selling the talent only if a suitor puts €35/40M on the table. The Argentine hasn’t had a great second half of the season. He hasn’t scored in the last ten matches, providing just one assist.

Juventus don’t face a ton of pressure from a contractual standpoint since Soulé is tied to them until 2026. He and the side turned down a bid from Saudi Arabia in January.

Despite the ongoing slump, the 21-year-old’s overall numbers remain solid. He has notched 10 goals and 3 assists in 31 Serie A appearances. Italy courted him, but he stuck with Argentina. He has good chances of being called up for the Olympics.

Our Take on Juventus and Soulé

That’s pretty much the stance for all their players, as nobody is untouchable for the right prixe. They’ll need multiple wingers if they really hire Thiago Motta, and he’s pretty much perfect for the new gaffer. He’ll be a larger ‘plusvalenza’ but, from a financial standpoint, it’d make more sense to sell Federico Chiesa given his wages. But the two are by no means mutually exclusively tactically, and that helps.
