Tottenham summer signing Guglielmo Vicario has proven to be an exceptional signing for the club.

The club signed him on a five-year deal from Serie A side Empoli for a reported fee of €20 million.

Since his arrival, the Italian has established himself as one of the best shot stoppers in the league.

His excellent performances this season is starting to attract interest from other clubs in England and across Europe.

And former Spurs scout Bryan King believes luring him away from the Tottenham is not completely impossible for other clubs, namely Manchester United.

Speaking to Tottenham News, he said:

“Andre Onana won’t win Manchester United anything.

“From United’s perspective, I think they should go out and sign Vicario. If they want to spend money, then spend money on players who are proven in the Premier League.

“Vicario would be tempted by a move to Old Trafford, without a doubt.”

TBH Says:

It’s unlikely that Vicario would leave Tottenham after just one season, specially considering his instant connection with the fans and evident passion for the club.

Moreover, the prospect of joining a Premier League rival like Manchester United seems even more improbable, given his allegiance to Spurs and the rapport he has built with the supporters.
