Brighton boss De Zerbi: Moder can be amazing for us

Brighton boss Roberto de Zerbi says midfielder Jakub Moder is becoming a "crucial" factor in his plans.

However, De Zerbi is wary pushing the Pole tonight against Brentford given his recent injury absence.

De Zerbi stated Moder produced an amazing performance" in defeat at Liverpool, saying: I have not yet understood yet - but I understand he is an important player.

A good player. I am very happy for him.

I don't know if (tonight) he starts in the first XI because I can't forget how much time he didn't play and I won't take risks with him.

The same for Lamptey for Welbeck. But in the last part of the season he will be, I think, crucial."
