Brentford midfielder Christian Norgaard has paid tribute to manager Thomas Frank.

Norgaard says he works well with his fellow Dane.

"I think I fit in well at Brentford. I know Thomas very well, and we have put together a team where there is some diversity," he said.

"Our players do not have the biggest star aspirations. They have all worked hard to get to where they are today. We also have a lot of young players that we would like to help shape, so in that way there is not much difference compared to my previous work.

"Firstly, Thomas has an enormous amount of professionalism. This is of course a prerequisite for becoming a skilled football coach. But it cannot stand alone either. You also have to have human and managerial qualities, and I think he has developed that in recent years. You can tell that he has gained more experience.

"In relation to the human qualities, Thomas has an enormous energy, where he is good at creating excitement around him, and this rubs off on the surroundings."
