Bayer Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso has reaffirmed his commitment to the new Bundesliga giants.

Xabi resisted interest from Bayern Munich and Liverpool to stick with Bayer.

He told AS: "Everyone is responsible for their own decisions.

"I hope my decision is the right one, I am convinced that it will be the right one.

"I'm enjoying the moment right now and of course I want to continue developing."
