Over the last few years, Paris Saint-Germain has snatched players from FC Barcelona, whether paying a release clause or securing them as free agents. Nonetheless, don’t expect any negotiations to happen between the clubs for players anytime soon.
Recently, rumors began to surface that the Parisians are interested in Lamine Yamal. The 16-year-old is under contract until 2026, but don’t expect the Spanish team to sell the player they’re extremely high on.
According to Francisco Calderón of Carpetas Blaugranas, the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal tie between PSG and Barcelona has only worsened the relationship between the two clubs.
In fact, it’s just another blow to the already strained ties, as the connection between Barça and Parisians hasn’t been positive for years due to clashes between fans and controversial dealings.
There’s significant dissatisfaction within the Barça camp regarding the conduct of the French team, leading Barça to shut the door on any potential alliances.

PSG have secured players like Neymar Jr., Xavi Simons, Ousmane Dembélé, and Arnau Tenas from the Catalan side, and if they want to secure other players in the future, it will have to be through the same method: free agency or paying a clause.
