Red Wings trade Namestnikov to Dallas for a 4th

The Detroit Red Wings have reportedly traded forward Vladislav Namestnikov to the Dallas Stars in exchange for a fourth-round pick. At this time, the year of the draft pick has yet to be confirmed. Kevin Weekes first reported the deal on ESPN. Namestnikov, 29, has 13 goals and 25 points in 60 games with the Red Wings this season. He’s in the final season of the two-year UFA deal (annually worth $2 million) that he signed with Detroit in 2020. More to come.
