NHL Stanley Cup Final bets: SOG props for Game 5 Tuesday 6/13

It's very likely that Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final will be the last game of our NHL season. Vegas is up 3-1 in the series and returning home, and it just doesn't seem Florida can keep up with the Golden Knights' physicality.

Whether the Panthers extend this series or not, I am liking this game for shots on goal props. Both teams are well-motivated to get their offenses going, and I'm seeing some potential gems in the market. Let's get a day's head start and lock in a few secondary players for a big Game 5.

To win 1u: Chandler Stephenson over 1.5 SOG (-130 DK)
To win .5u: Stephenson 3+ shots (+220 FD)

I'm lumping Chandler Stephenson together here, as I'm playing both his standard line and one number higher. Some joined me on Stephenson on Saturday when I shared it out on Twitter, and he delivered.

I see no reason to abandon him now. Stephenson has finished with shot totals of three, four and four in his past three games, and there's been some real nice volume there.

Fresh off scoring two goals, I expect Stephenson to once again stay involved on offense and get that puck to the net. I've wagered to win 1u on his 1.5 line, and bet an additional half-unit on him hitting 3+ shots in regulation.

.75u: Anton Lundell 3+ shots (+195 FD)

Anton Lundell was not who I expected to stumble upon during my Game 5 research, but once he popped up I remembered how active he's been this in this Final.

The numbers back up the broadcast-viewing experience: Lundell has 3+ shots in three of four games this series, averaging 5.5 attempts per game.

In the first two games in Vegas, Lundell finished with four and three SOG on 11 total attempts. In Game 4, Lundell ripped eight shots, with three hitting the net.

Lundell has also been far steadier on the road, going for 3+ shots in four of his last six, three times finishing with four SOG. I heavily considered a sprinkle on his 4+ line, available at +470 on FanDuel, but ultimately settled on this 3+ price for .75u.
