It's a packed day on the ice, so we'll aim to simplify things here for you with four teams we like best to find some goals. For those who prefer NHL player props, we'll include a few names of interest to get involved with a point.
Boston has scored 4+ goals in five straight, and over the last month, they're averaging 3.3 goals per game at home. Earlier this season, Tampa beat the Bruins 5-4, and I expect Boston to return the favor here on home ice. The Lightning have allowed 3+ goals in nine of their last 11 on the road.
New York should also be able to find some goals here against a Montreal Canadiens team allowing 3.8 per game at home over the last month. There's also a power play edge here that favors the Rangers unit, expect a PP goal here against a struggling Canadiens penalty kill. New York has 3+ goals in six of the last seven meetings.
Bruins point to consider: Brad Marchand
Rangers point to consider: Mika Zibanejad
Toronto is averaging 3.9 goals per game on the road while San Jose is allowing 3.7 goals per game at home across the last 30 days. That certainly catches the eye, and the Leafs have 3+ goals in eight of the last nine games against the Sharks.
Edmonton might be in the best spot of the day against this struggling Ottawa Senators defense. The Oilers are averaging 4.0 goals/game at home and Ottawa is allowing 4.2 goals/game on the road. Edmonton has 4+ in three of the last four meetings, including six goals in two straight.
Maple Leafs point to consider: John Tavares
Oilers point to consider: Zach Hyman
