Nashville Predators Recall Michael McCarron
USA TODAY Sports

The Nashville Predators have recalled forward Michael McCarron from the Milwaukee Admirals. The 27 year old has played fifteen games for the Predators this season scoring one goals and one assist. Known for his physical play, the 6'6" forward has recorded 34 hits in those fifteen games.

McCarron has been playing with the Milwaukee Admirals after briefly stepping away from the ice. In his thirteen games with the Admirals, McCarron has scored two goals and three assists.

The move to recall McCarron could be an indication that Phil Tomasino may not be in the lineup tonight against the Vancouver Canucks. Tomasino took a hard hit from Andreas Englund in Saturday's game against the Chicago Blackhawks and did not play in the second and third periods. Forward Filip Forsberg is traveling and skating with the team on this road trip but is not likely to return to the lineup tonight while Jusso Pärssinen is listed as day to day with an upper body injury.

The Predators take on the Canucks tonight at Rogers Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 9:30 pm CST.
