Former Maple Leafs Public Address Announcer Andy Frost Introduces Starting Lineup During Flyers' Dads Trip

The Toronto Maple Leafs aren't the only NHL club currently partaking in a fathers' trip.

The Philadelphia Flyers have brought their dads with them to Music City for a game on the road against the Nashville Predators.

Before the game began, Flyers head coach John Tortorella asked Andy Frost, the father of Flyers forward Morgan Frost, to come out of retirement to introduce the starting lineup.

Andy Frost served as the public address announcer for the Maple Leafs from the opening of Scotiabank Arena in 1999 to 2016 when his contract wasn't renewed.

Hearing Frost's voice again certainly brought back memories as he's had some legendary announcements throughout his career with the Maple Leafs.

Frost also hosted a Maple Leafs post-game show on AM 640 for years and was a regular fixture on Q107 before retiring from the radio industry. Following his tenure with the Leafs, Frost filled in on occasion for some Tampa Bay Lightning games when their regular PA announcer at the time had a conflict doing work with the Orlando Magic.
