The bottom line is this, you're kicker, you got one damn job. That's all you got. "It was a 44-yard field goal, you can't miss that. Stephen A. Smith said

Bass has converted 106 FGs of his 127 attempts. It was a very unusual miss that the player had. Smith took a dig at that too. The analyst added:

So all of a sudden you pick a divisional playoff game with an AFC Championship berth on the line? Shameful. And that's what he has to live with the entire offseason. Stephen A. Smith added

Josh Allen stood by Tyler Bass

Like an ideal leader, Josh Allen stood by the side of his placekicker. Addressing the press, the quarterback said that it was not his fault. He directed the responsibility towards the entire team.

Josh Allen said:

I wish it wouldn’t have been put in that situation. You win as a team, you lose as a team. One play doesn’t define a game, it doesn’t define a season. I know people are gonna be out there saying that. We’ve got to be there for [Tyler], because (if) we execute a couple plays prior, we’re probably singing a different tune right now.
