Will Kellen Moore Recruit Chargers Free Agents To Philadelphia This Year?

Your Los Angeles Chargers have some decisions to make when it comes to resigning their unrestricted free agents. However, with former offensive coordinator Kellen Moore's leaving for the Philadelphia Eagles, some of those decisions might be made for them.

Three names stand out when it comes to players who could follow Moore out east.

Austin Ekeler, RB

D'Andre Swift, Boston Scott, and Rashaad Penny are all set to hit the free agent market which opens up the running back room.

The Eagles should resign Swift but Ekeler would be a great replacement option if he decides to sign elsewhere.

Since 2018, Ekeler has posted 7,700 yards from scrimmage along with 64 total TDs.

His workload has been massive with the Chargers and with receiving tools like A.J. Brown and D'Vonta Smith, he would need to be on the field all the time.

Joshua Kelley, RB

For similar reasons as Ekeler, the Eagles' running back room could shrink significantly with free agency looming.

Kelley was second in rushing with 405 yards while Ekeler led with 628.

He isn't ready to be the No. 1 running back but he could fit in as a backup, especially if Swift returns to the Eagles.

Easton Stick, QB

Jalen Hurts is the starter but the Eagles could be on the hunt for a backup.

Marcus Mariota was brought in to be the No. 2 but when his number was called, he struggled. In Week 18, Mariota was 13-for-20 for 148 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Very underwhelming and he is set to become a free agent.

Easton Stick could be the answer. He appeared in four games for the Chargers and only threw one interception while averaging 237.5 yards in the air.
