Week 10 'TNF' touchdown bets: Looking down the rung for some value

Touchdown props have been perhaps the hardest market to nail down this year. Scoring is down, with unders cashing at a historic rate through nine weeks.

That hasn't made this particularly easy, but as long as we keep our risk down in the units we wager, there's still room for a profitable run on TDs.

Tonight's Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears matchup is ugly at first glance, with an over/under set at 38 points. All that means is we're getting some competitive odds on players finding paydirt.

We've got two names to consider tonight, and we recommend a half-unit at most on both.

Tommy Tremble (+950 FanDuel)

Oh, here's some value for ya. Tommy Tremble is the second Panthers tight end, but based on recent usage, he's ironing out a role in this offense. Tremble has played just three fewer snaps than Hurst over the past three weeks, and he's caught six passes in that stretch to Hurst's three. Tremble also has been targeted more recently in the red zone than Hurst.

We highlight the tight ends here because Chicago has allowed the fifth-most receptions per game to the position. They've also allowed the 10th-most touchdowns/game to TEs, and their secondary is the clear vulnerability in this one.

At +950, this seems worth a sprinkle. Tremble has caught two touchdowns in the past four games, both one-yard scores.

Tyson Bagent (+410 FanDuel)

The best way to attack Carolina is on the ground. It's why we love D'Onta Foreman tonight. While we do like Foreman to score considering the Panthers allow the most touchdowns per game to running backs, his +110 price leaves a bit to be desired.

We stick on the ground but instead opt to Chicago starting QB Tyson Bagent. Bagent has shown a tendency to put his legs to use, piling up 13 rushing attempts over the past two games, three of which came in the red zone.

Bagent has scored twice since stepping in for an injured Justin Fields, and with how many rushing TDs Carolina allows, there's some value here on the young passer tucking it and running in.
