Week 10 'TNF' player props: D'Onta Foreman should deliver
With news of Khalil Herbert being out tonight, our choice for a running back prop is all the more straightforward in this one between the Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears.
D'Onta Foreman over 56.5 rushing yards (-115 Barstool)
Before we get to Foreman, it's important to understand just how bad this Carolina Panthers run defense has been this season. Carolina is allowing the second-most rushing yards per game to running backs at 120.13, the eighth-highest yards per rush attempt at 4.4, and DVOA has them squarely as the worst run defense in the NFL.
Well, that's all incredibly inviting to me and all I need to see to load up a Bears runner. I was excited about the return of Khalil Herbert and was planning to bet him, but it looks like he will be out for another week.
That gives D'Onta Foreman the reigns to keep on trucking in this offense. F'Oreman is sporting some elite volume, taking 15+ carries in three of his last four games. He's turned that workload into solid yardage production, averaging 67.75 yards per game in that stretch, going over this line three times.
Tack on that Foreman is a former Panther for a touch of revenge, and I'm in on the Bears RB1 having himself a night to get our Week 10 started right.
I don't hate looking to Foreman for some touchdown production either, the Panthers are allowing the most touchdowns per game to RBs.
