The Las Vegas Raiders' battle with the New York Jets on "Sunday Night Football" had been a field goal battle through three quarters until rookie tight end for the silver and black, Michael Mayer, scored the game's first touchdown in style.

With the Raiders and Jets tied 9-9 with 14:10 left in the fourth quarter, QB Aidan O'Connell threw one up for grabs on third and four from the New York four-yard line. While Jets safety Jordan Whitehead was in a good position to make a play on the ball, Mayer reached over the top, snatching the pass out of mid-air, seemingly channeling the great Randy Moss.
For the Raiders, the incredible catch gave them their first lead of the game. Meanwhile, for Mayer, it was his first career NFL touchdown. Selected in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft out of Notre Dame, Mayer has played in all 10 games for the Raiders, entering Sunday with 13 catches (19 targets) for 159 yards (12.2).
