Watch: Jets' Breece Hall Denies Whining Autograph Seeker With Help From Giants Legend

The fan in question found the past and present stars of the game and made an autograph request that Hall, for whatever reason, declined. That caused the man to lose his mind completely, as the TMZ documentation has him claiming that Hall "owes" him a souvenir. Banks, a 12-year NFL linebacker (his first eight seasons spent with the Giants), briefly became an offensive lineman, standing in between Hall and the fan, who encouraged the Jets' young star to "be a man" and "slap (him)." 

Hall was able to walk away without further incident, but the man attempted to get the last word in by calling Hall a vulgar term. The rusher addressed the incident when the clip in question went viral on Monday, thanking Banks for his intervention in the process.

"If you know me you know I always show love!!! There’s a time and a place for everything but harassing me at baggage claim ain’t the time or place," Hall said. "Thankfully Carl and my guy Joe were there to keep anything from (happening)." 

Both Banks and Hall returned to their Meadowlands dwelling over the weekend, as they were two of several tri-state area football stars to greet hockey fans visiting MetLife Stadium for the NHL Stadium Series outdoor showcase between the New York Islanders and New York Rangers.

Fans of both the Giants and Jets likely wish that Banks and Hall could've collaborated in better circumstances: Banks was part of two blue teams that won a Super Bowl while Hall is one of several budding talents stationed on the Jets roster. The soon-to-be third-year man out of Iowa State showed little ill effects from a torn ACL that ended his rookie campaign prematurely, putting up 1,585 yards from scrimmage in season two.
