San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy is rekindling his chemistry with star tight end George Kittle.
Even though the Jacksonville Jaguars defensive line swarmed him, Purdy delivered a strike to Kittle, who took it to the house for a 66-yard TD, giving the 49ers a 20-3 lead with 14:10 remaining in the third quarter.

San Francisco (5-3) has lost three consecutive games. During this stretch, Purdy has completed 61.8 percent of his passes for three TDs, five interceptions and a 55.5 QBR.
Targeting Kittle more often, however, will help the second-year QB snap out of his funk. Entering Week 10, the 30-year-old has 32 receptions for 443 yards and three TDs.
Kittle and Purdy developing a stronger connection also helps San Francisco bolster its strong Super Bowl odds. As of Sunday, oddschecker gives the Niners the third-best odds (+600) of hoisting the Lombardi trophy behind the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs.
