Veteran pass rusher Ryan Kerrigan signs with Eagles

Ryan Kerrigan bid farewell to the Washington Football Team via Instagram on Sunday. On Monday, he announced his decision to sign with another NFC East club, the Philadelphia Eagles

Kerrigan spent the first 10 years of his career in Washington, making it to four Pro Bowls. In 16 games last season, the 32-year-old recorded 5.5 sacks, one fumble recovery, one pass breakup, 17 tackles, five tackles for a loss and six quarterback hits.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals also showed interest in the veteran linebacker. 

Kerrigan joins a group in Philly that includes Joe Bachie, Shaun Bradley, T.J. Edwards, Alex Singleton, Rashad Smith, Davion Taylor and Eric Wilson.
