Tyreek Hill Says Former Steelers LB Made Him Want to Quit Kick Returns
USA TODAY Sports

Imagine hitting Tyreek Hill so hard he no longer wanted to do something he might've been the best in the NFL at? Well, that's what former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Vince Williams did, and Hill isn't hiding it.

In a recent video with Bleacher Report, Hill answers about the hardest hit he's ever taken during his career. The current Miami Dolphin took us back to his time with the Kansas City Chiefs, during the 2016 Divisional Round game, when Williams hit him on a kickoff.

"The hardest hit I ever took in the league was probably my rookie year," Hill said. "Vince Williams from the Pittsburgh Steelers. He's not in the league no more, but dude he made me not want to do kickoff returns no more."

That season, as a rookie, Hill had 592 punt return yards and 384 kick return yards, with three total touchdowns. He was quickly viewed as a dominant name in the return business, but after the playoffs, only worked two more seasons as a returner before making it a limited part of his game.

For Williams, there are probably a few players over the years that would claim the inside linebacker as their hardest hit. A run-stuffer in the middle, the Steelers thumper was one of the last remaining pieces of a hard-nose defense consisting of vicious players.
