Two Additional Browns Players Added To NFL's Pro Bowl Rosters
© Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

Two more Browns players will attend the NFL's annual Pro Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 4, after several players voted to the event dropped out due to injury.

Guard Wyatt Teller now gets the nod, along with linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah will now head to Orlando in two weeks. Teller actually replaces his offensive line-mate Joel Bitonio who is choosing not to attend after an injury plagued season. JOK is set to replace Steelers' pass rusher T.J. Watt who suffered an MCL injury in the team's final game of the regular season and didn't play in last weekend 31-17, Wild Card loss to the Bills.

Bitonio dealt with various injuries throughout the season that hindered his play. During the Browns bye week he had his knee scoped, which then forced him to snap a streak of 102 consecutive games started during his career when he missed the team's matchup with San Francisco in Week 6. Later in the season a back injury forced him from a game against the Bears and then in last weekend's Wild Card loss to Houston he exited with an ankle injury.

While Bitonio's absence from the game is unfortunate, Teller now has an opportunity to participate in the event for a third straight season, which represent all three of the Pro Bowl nominations of his career. Teller started all 16 games at right guard in 2023, blocking for four different quarterbacks.

As for Owusu-Koramoah, he will head to the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career after leading the Browns with 98 tackles. The third-year backer out of Notre Dame thrived under new defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, as he compiled 3.5 sacks, six passes defensed and one forced fumble as well. Additionally, his 20 tackles for loss were fourth most in the NFL this season before adding four more last week in Houston.

Along with Bitonio, Teller and Owusu-Koramoah, Cleveland's full list of 2023 Pro Bowlers includes WR Amari Cooper, DE Myles Garrett, TE David Njoku and CB Denzel Ward. That's the most representatives Cleveland has sent to the vent since 1988, when the club had eight.
