Briana Sanchez / USA TODAY NETWORK

Travis Kelce is looking to transition from prime-time football on the weekends to prime-time entertainment on television. His interest in Hollywood and acting has remained no secret. Kelce is now preparing to become the host of a popular game show. This one will surely bring back some memories from the past.

The tight end is reportedly in talks with Amazon to host a rebooted version of the popular show Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? The show involves asking simple questions that might not pose much difficulty. It usually involves a single contestant who must answer ten questions and a bonus question at the end. The questions are from elementary school textbooks, two from grades one through five.

As per the Deadline, Travis Kelce and Amazon have not closed the deal yet, but they are still in the talking stages. Kelce’s mainstream popularity has increased in the last year. Hence, Amazon looking at someone like Kelce over seasoned veterans remains a true testament to his success off the field.

A lot of factors will determine Kelce’s hiring. For example, Kelce’s availability will become difficult once the NFL season begins. This is due to the practices, meetings, and travels with the Kansas City Chiefs. Only time will tell if Kelce lands the role.

Travis Kelce has previously starred in reality television

Kelce is no stranger to the world of reality television. He was an eligible bachelor on the show Catching Kelce for USA Network. It is where he met his now former girlfriend, Maya Benberry. Since then, he has gone to date Kayla Nicole. Now, he started dating pop star Taylor Swift in September of 2023.
