Steelers win comes with a cost they can't afford
Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

The Pittsburgh Steelers played their most complete game of the season on Saturday against the Bengals.

Dominant in all three phases of the game, Pittsburgh showed up when it mattered most.

But it wasn't all perfect, as the Steelers may have just lost a key starter at a position that was already a weakness:

Steelers Postgame Injury Update

Elandon Roberts: The lone starting LB left this season Roberts left the game with a pec injury that looked to be fairly serious seeing he was ruled doubtful and then almost immediately declared out. Coach Tomlin didn't add much on Roberts' status in his postgame press conference, saying: "We were snakebitten at the inside LB position as Elandon Roberts went down with a pec injury and was unable to return, I'll have more info for you guys on Tuesday."

Observations:

Pittsburgh was able to come away largely unscathed in terms of attrition at key positions, but they will surely miss Roberts. The Bengals took longer than some other teams to exploit the middle of the defense, but even they found out that Pittsburgh is susceptible over the middle, something other teams will continue to target in light of another inury at the position.
