Saints' Alvin Kamara arrested for battery after Pro Bowl in Las Vegas

Just hours after recording four receptions for 23 yards in the 2022 Pro Bowl , New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara was arrested by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

A 2017 third-round draft pick, Kamara just concluded his fifth NFL season, all of which have resulted in Pro Bowl honors. The 26-year-old was named the 2017 AP Offensive Rookie of the Year after he recorded 120 rushing attempts for 728 yards and seven touchdowns, leading the NFL in yards per attempt at 6.1 and adding 81 receptions for 826 yards and five scores through the air as well.

Kamara recorded career-highs in rushing yards (932), rushing touchdowns (16) and receptions (83) in 2020, but missed four games in 2021 due to injury. This past season, he led the Saints in rushing attempts (240), rushing yards (898) and receptions (47).
