New England Patriots wide receiver N'Keal Harry surprised some in the NFL community last week when he requested to be traded from the organization through his agent, who said the 23-year-old needed a "fresh start."
According to league insider Josina Anderson, Harry will report for the beginning of training camp later this month if the Patriots don't trade him beforehand.
Update: As dialogue continues with the team, I'm told the current plan is for #Patriots WR N'Keal Harry to attend training camp. In his ongoing preparation for team activities, Harry currently has plans to train with T.J. Houshmandzadeh, per source.

Harry underwhelmed across his first two NFL regular seasons and has recorded a total of 45 receptions for 414 yards and four touchdowns in 21 games. It's unknown if any team is willing to part with an asset for the receiver. Harry is on track to earn over $1.4 million in 2021 and over $1.87 million the following year via his current contract, per Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk.
Before the trade request was made public, ESPN's Mike Reiss suggested the Patriots could cut Harry if he failed to impress during training camp and preseason contests.
