It’s been reported that there’s a chance Browns starting right tackle Jack Conklin may be held out of Cleveland’s week one matchup against the Carolina Panthers. Though missing a game is never a good thing, Conklin has been on the field and practicing at almost 100% since early august.
This would just be a cautionary measure to ensure the health of Conklin for future games. Cleveland could also be without backup right tackle Chris Hubbard due to a triceps injury. Whatever the case, the Browns are confident in James Hudson III and newly acquired Joe Haeg to temporarily fill in for Conklin.
