Raiders blow another big lead against Jaguars

Big leads have slipped through the Raiders' fingers like a wet bar of soap.

According to Vic Tafur of The Athletic, the Raiders have blown three 17-point leads this season against the Cardinals, Chiefs, and Jaguars.

Their latest blown lead, a 27-20 loss against the 3-6 Jaguars, was particularly frustrating.

After the Raiders raced to a 17-0 early first-half lead, thanks to two touchdowns by wideout Davante Adams, they collapsed. The Jaguars scored 27 points while the Raiders only scored three points for the rest of the game.

The comeback was Jacksonville's second from 17 points or more in franchise history, per Josh Dubow of the Associated Press.

This blown lead is unacceptable since the Jaguars are rebuilding, and it pushed the Raiders' season into a deep tank.

They're 2-6 and last in the AFC West. If the Raiders won these games, they're 5-3 and a potential playoff contender. Also, it wouldn't overshadow their talent. Adams had one of his best games of the year, with 10 receptions for 146 receiving yards.
