Predicting The Critical 2024 Giants Schedule: Weeks 9-12
Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

In the first two parts of this hypothetical schedule, the early-season schedule for the New York Giants took shape, with contests against division rivals and new-look clubs alike. As the calendar turns to November, the Giants hope to turn their attention to the playoff chase.

Predicting the New York Giants Weeks 9-12

Week 9: Minnesota Vikings (TNF)

The Brian Daboll era’s defining moment to this point was the 31-24 triumph over Minnesota in the 2022 Wild Card round. In 2024, the teams will meet up once more in East Rutherford under decidedly different circumstances. Kirk Cousins is no longer around, with both Sam Darnold and J.J. McCarthy competing for Minnesota’s starting job. Justin Jefferson, who the Giants kept in check on that afternoon, will still suit up for the Vikings.

This is a contest where both teams could either be on the fringes of the playoff chase, or both competing for top 10 selections in the NFL draft once more.

Week 10: At Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns cobbled together a playoff run in 2023 but were taken down handily by the Houston Texans. Joe Flacco, the unsung hero of the second half of the campaign, is now a member of another club the Giants will take on this season in the Colts. Deshaun Watson enters a year three where has to prove himself after the trade Cleveland engaged in for him wound up gifting Houston several more key talents during this offseason.

The Giants roll into Cleveland in what could be a low-scoring affair between one of the league’s best defenses from 2023 against a new-look Giants defense that could rise into the front half of the league in 2024 after finishing bottom-five in 2023.

Week 11: New Orleans Saints

When these teams met in Week 15 of 2023, the Saints handily took down the Tommy DeVito-led Giants. For this rematch in 2024, the Giants will most likely have Daniel Jones back under center in time for this late-season contest.

The Saints will likely find themselves once again pursuing the NFC South crown by this point in the year, while the Giants have not won a home contest against the Saints since 2012.

Week 12: At Washington Commanders (MNF)

To round out November, the Giants play their lone Monday Night contest to finish their season series against the Commanders.

It is entirely possible that, compared to earlier in the season, Jayden Daniels will assume the starting job for Dan Quinn’s squad as the calendar inches closer to December. The Giants would come into this matchup having taken the last two games against the Commanders at FedEx Field.
