There have been a great deal of roster projections prediction which wide receivers will make the Packers 53-man roster. Indeed, the team has an underrated core of receivers that include Allen Lazard, Amari Rodgers, Sammy Watkins, and Randall Cobb. Additionally, the team drafted three wide receivers in this year’s NFL Draft: Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, and Samori Toure. While a combination of any number of these players are projected to make the 53-man roster, very few believe holdovers from last season will make the team. These two players, Juwann Winfree and Malik Taylor, will certainly have opportunities to stand out with Watson and Watkins unavailable. During his media availability after practice on Wednesday, Aaron Rodgers had high praise for Winfree.
While there is no video footage available, reports from training camp are that Juwann Winfree may have had the best day of any of the wide receivers. The reporters and analysts who were there Tweeted out some very flattering statements about him:

First deep completion of camp is from Rodgers to Juwann Winfree down the right sideline. Contested catch with Eric Stokes in coverage. Drew a nice cheer from the crowd.

Juwann Winfree plays through contact and makes a nice downfield snag from Rodgers to open second team period. Gary had a pressure on the play

Juwann Winfree just got the loudest cheers so far. Deep ball from Rodgers and he comes down with it. #Packers

As Daire referenced in the first Tweet mentioned, Juwann Winfree has a reputation for showing out in training camp. The problem is that he has not been able to make it translate to the field in the regular season. Last year, Winfree played in seven games. He had eight receptions (on 13 targets) for 58 yards. Winfree also fumbled the ball twice.
According to Zach Kruse of Packerswire, Aaron Rodgers had some very nice things to say about Winfree after practice on Wednesday: “I wouldn’t be surprised if 88 is over there saying ‘I’m a pretty damn good football player, don’t forget about me’…I think he definitely is going to put himself into a position to have an impact,” Rodgers said. “I’m really proud of Juwann. He’s always been a professional for us.”
If Winfree does make the team, it will likely be for his special teams prowess. Of course, the Packers could keep him on their practice squad this season, but it will not be surprising if some other team claims him sooner rather than later.
