Packers QB Aaron Rodgers doesn't regret telling Bears fans 'I still own you'

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers had some fun at the expense of jeering Chicago Bears fans during the 24-14 win back on Oct. 17 when he yelled to them "I still own you!" after he rushed for a fourth-quarter touchdown that put the game out of reach.

That victory improved Rodgers to 21-5 overall against the Bears, and he spoke with reporters Wednesday about his outburst that he says was directed to individuals at the stadium who were showing him one specific finger at that time.

"I don’t know if you can question a whole lot of what I said," the reigning NFL Most Valuable Player explained ahead of the upcoming "Sunday Night Football" matchup versus the Bears, according to Myles Simmons of Pro Football Talk. "We’ve had a good record over the years against them and won a lot of games. At some point, it will be used against me. It is what it is. I don’t regret saying it at all."

Rodgers is preparing to face the Bears without practicing Wednesday as he rests his fractured pinky toe but is expected to play Sunday. Chicago, meanwhile, has cleared rookie quarterback Justin Fields to return to the lineup after he missed the last two games with fractured ribs.
