Los Angeles Rams bolster their secondary by signing former Buffalo Bills All-Pro cornerback

White has spent his entire seven-year career with the Bills before they cut him ahead of free agency. A first-round pick back in 2017, White has been named an All-Pro and a Pro Bowler twice. In 2019 he led the NFL in interceptions with six. Injuries have gotten the best of him lately as he's missed 24 games over the last two seasons.

White is coming off a torn Achillies, which he rehabbed with Rams team doctor Neal ElAttrache during the offseason. White's deal is for $8.5 million with a maximum value of $10 million. He will pair with fellow cornerback Darious Williams, who L.A. signed to a three-year contract a couple of weeks ago. 

This is the definition of a "prove it" deal for White, who needs to show he can stay healthy and still play at a high level. He has not played an entire season since 2018 and could be running out of chances at 29 years old. However, a bounce-back year could land White one more long-term contract next offseason.
