Kyle Brandt claims this isn’t the ‘funeral’ for the Dolphins despite getting ‘killed’ by Lamar Jackson’s Ravens
Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

The shambolic loss of the Miami Dolphins against the Baltimore Ravens has made the job difficult for them. The team is losing ground without the support of the analysts. Experts are saying that the team will not be able to make it to the playoffs. They won’t be able to win a single game in the playoffs.

Amid these conditions, Kyle Brandt does not seem to be losing hope in the future of the team. And that is a bit surprising. Brandt is someone who is not a huge fan of the Dolphins.

Instead, he is often seen sharing harsh remarks about the Dolphins and their future. Nonetheless, this time, the analyst seemed hopeful about the future of the Dolphins.

In one of the episodes of his podcasting show, the analyst added that the team had a temporary problem, and with good guidance, they could overcome it.

They are hurting...the fans are hurting, It's all in front of you though. You have a home game against a team that is in the dead in the water. Who you have a lot of history against, a lot of records are very good. The analyst said
I don't think this is doom and gloom for the Dolphins. They got killed by the Ravens, a lot of teams have, and a lot of teams will be like the Dolphins will be. I think it is a McDaniel week to coach, to motivate... Win [vs. Bills], take care of business. I don't think this is a funeral for Miami Dolphins. Continuing further, he added

The Miami Dolphins have already cemented a place in the playoffs; however, they have missed the No. 1 conference seed. The Ravens have achieved the conference seed, and as a result, they will have a home advantage in the postseason.

The Dolphins have suffered against teams with winning records

Throughout the league, the Dolphins have suffered against teams with a winning record. They were able to beat the Dallas Cowboys in the dying moments of the game. That was their only win against a team going on a winning streak.

However, they failed to do much against other teams. Their continuous suffering against strong contenders has raised some serious questions.

Despite having a brilliant record this season, HC Mike McDaniel has faced criticism over not making it against winning teams. More than him, it has been Tua Tagovailoa who has gone through severe questions.

Both Tua and McDaniel want to change their reputations by registering a victory against the Bills, who are still looking for a playoff spot. The Bills have a must-win game against the Dolphins.
