Jaguars' Walker Little 'Day-to-Day' Following Knee Injury vs. Bills

Jacksonville Jaguars offensive tackle Walker Little is day-to-day with a knee injury he sustained in Week 5's win vs. the Buffalo Bills, head coach Doug Pederson said on Wednesday. 

Little, who started at left guard for the first time in his three-year NFL career on Sunday, was injured on the 11th snap of the game and did not return. Little got an MRI on his knee on Monday when the Jaguars returned from London, and Pederson says the MRI was positive. 

Little started the first four games of the season at left tackle, filling in for a suspended Cam Robinson. Robinson returned in Week 5, leading to Little being moved inside to guard. 

“He’s a security blanket just within the staff, of knowing he can align in multiple spots. Being able to play left tackle and right tackle is not as easy as people think," Jaguars offensive coordinator Press Taylor said last week. 

"Now, you are right hand dominant on the right side and left hand on the left side. That’s a little harder than I think people would realize. Being able to move inside where there’s less space and everything is constricted, everything happens faster. A guy that can handle that and do that at a high level is really invaluable for us.”

Little, who the Jaguars picked with the No. 45 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, started three games at left tackle as a rookie. He started five games at left tackle last year after competing for the starting right tackle job during training camp.
