Jaguars vs. Colts: Zay Jones, Walker Little Ruled Out
USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars will be without two key offensive starters vs. the Indianapolis Colts in Week 6.

Wide receiver Zay Jones and offensive tackle Walker Little have both been ruled out with knee injuries.

Meanwhile, rookie cornerback Christian Braswell is out with a hamstring injury. Veteran defensive lineman DaVon Hamilton will also not play after being designated to return from the injured reserve list earlier this week.

“I don’t know. The 21 days kind of puts it into the bye week for us," Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said about Hamilton.

"We just got to see, there’s not a lot practice reps between now and the bye because it being Friday now and a short week next week, then you got one more week against Pittsburgh then the bye. We’ll see, DaVon is feeling good, his strength is good, his weight is good, all that. It’s not out of the question.”

As for inside linebacker Devin Lloyd, who missed the last two games with a thumb injury, it appears the expectation is for the 2022 first-round pick to return to the field.

Lloyd, who had surgery following his injury, has practiced with a cast this week and will be expected to wear it vs. the Colts.

“No, it doesn’t change anything, but from a grip standpoint, he just can’t bend that thumb because it’s immobilized basically," Pederson said.

"He has the ability to use his four fingers, but he says he feels fine. He feels comfortable using it the more time he’s out there, just catching a football is probably not the most ideal with a cast on your wrist.”
