Jaguars' Evan Engram keeps it real after loss to Ravens
Nathan Ray Seebeck-USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars lost yet another embarrassing game. The last two were embarrassing because they were outplayed by the likes of Jake Browning and Joe Flacco, two back quarterbacks. This game was embarrassing because it was a Saturday Night Football game at home, which saw the Jaguars score once.

That one play was nice, and I hope for some potential big plays down the road to Jamal Agnew, who played his first game back from IR and caught a 65-yard touchdown. Other than that pay, though, the offense was terrible.

They just could not get out of their own way, and a big reason why was penalties, dropped balls, offensive line play, and even quarterback play. No one on offense really played well outside of Jamal Agnew, and maybe Travis Etienne if we are counting just the first half since he got only three carries in the second.

The players know the offense is bad, too, and they will even tell you there is nothing good going for it right now.

"Just not playing good football ... the complimentary football we had in the middle of the season is out the window," tight end Evan Engram told reporters after the game in the locker room.

Engram, who is not only third in catches in the league among tight ends but also one of the best tight ends in the league, was barely used. So, if he is going off, I think he deserves to do a bit. He had four catches on six targets for 28 yards. That just won't cut it, especially against a defense as good as the Ravens, who can cover downfield.

They cannot get out of their own way. The football isn't clean anymore. They have to get back to the drawing board and fix it. They have three weeks to do so, and if they don't soon, this may not even be a playoff team. The only bad thing about getting back and getting ready is that Trevor Lawrence is in concussion protocol.
