Jabrill Peppers acknowledges harsh reality of playing for Patriots
Kevin R. Wexler / USA TODAY NETWORK

At 2-9, the New England Patriots are one of the worst teams in the NFL.

And this past Sunday, they suffered another loss to the New York Giants, a team that also hasn't been doing well. And after the game, Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers went up to talk with Giants' Saquon Barkley.

Peppers didn't hold back when talking to Barkley, explaining the harsh reality of playing for the Patriots. But I'm sure he didn't expect this to get caught on camera.

"You lucky we a**," Peppers said to Barkley with a smile. And the running back laughed too.

Peppers has been a shining spot for the Patriots this season, with the safety's physicality have led to many turnovers.

However, the defenses efforts haven't been enough, with the offense struggling to get into the end zone.

Because of their poor performance, the Patriots currently hold the third overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. And the Giants hold the sixth pick.
