The Los Angeles Rams will most likely have a hole at the tight end position as a result of what many claimed to be a dirty hit in the Wild Card against the Detroit Lions.

Tyler Higbee was revealed to have suffered a torn ACL and MCL, which already made his recovery time long. But what's worse is that the injury occurred late in the season, meaning the Rams could be without their top tight end for a good portion of 2024.

With that in mind, a good fit for the Rams' pass-heavy offense could be the Seattle Seahawks' Noah Fant.

Fant was drafted with the 20th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, as he was very highly sought after coming out of Iowa, a college famous for producing tight ends. But ever since he was drafted, he has still be waiting for his break-out season.

His low numbers have come as a result of a variety of factors, including inconsistent quarterback play and depth at the position.

But if Fant were to sign with the Rams, he would be playing with a veteran quarterback in Matthew Stafford who is coming off of a great year.

He would also benefit head coach Sean McVay's offense, as Fant is still only 26 years old and is still very athletic for the position, meaning he still has time to develop into the scheme.

Whether the Rams decide to go get a starting-caliber tight end in free agency or stick with Davis Allen until Higbee comes back, the position is one that needs to be addressed in some way if the team wants to maximize McVay's offense.
