Harrison Butker has career game in Week 17 win vs. Bengals

Harrison Butker's foot was the reason why the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17.

The Chiefs' kicker was the team's leading scorer on Sunday, nailing six fields for a total of 18 points. Kansas City ended up winning 25-17, but Butker's 18 points were all the team truly needed.

Butker's performance ended up being a career game for him. It was the first time Butker has made six field goals in a single game during his seven-year career. Butker has been one of the NFL's top kickers this season, missing just two field goals and zero extra points in 2023.

With the win, the Chiefs capture the AFC West title for the eighth straight season. They also have the No. 3 seed locked up, meaning they have the luxury of resting their starters in Week 18 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Chiefs will host a postseason game on wild-card weekend, so that extra rest will go a long way in helping the team get back on track after a myriad of offensive issues throughout the season. Luckily, the team has a consistent performer like Butker to lean on during the tough stretches.
