Former Ole Miss Rebels wide receivers A.J. Brown and D.K. Metcalf will square off on the NFL's "Monday Night Football" this week as the Seattle Seahawks host the Philadelphia Eagles.

Brown and Metcalf were among the most productive wide receivers in Ole Miss history during their college careers, and they have become some of the most famous wideouts in the league since being taken in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Both players are Mississippi natives with Brown originally hailing from Starkville, Mississippi, and Metcalf coming from Oxford. While at Ole Miss, Brown became the school's career leader in receiving yards (2,984) and 100-yard receiving games (12). He was also named an All-American by multiple publications and won the 2017 Conerly Trophy, an award given annually to the top college football player in the state of Mississippi.

Metcalf was plagued by injuries throughout his time in college, but he registered 1,228 receiving yards in his career and 14 touchdowns after suiting up in 21 career games.

The Eagles and Seahawks enter Monday's game with different goals in mind. Philadelphia still has hopes of securing the No. 1 seed in the NFC (or at least capturing the NFC East title), and Seattle hopes to reenter the playoff conversation and improve to 7-7 on the year. Entering Monday night, the Eagles currently hold the No. 2 seed in the NFC, and the Seahawks come in at No. 9, two spots shy of making the cut for the postseason.

Kickoff on Monday is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. CT, and the game will be televised on ABC and ESPN.
