Ezekiel Elliott's one-yard touchdown in the second quarter of the Cowboys' Thanksgiving Day game might not have seemed like much. But it actually held a big significance for the football franchise.
With his rushing touchdown in Thursday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders, Elliott tied Cowboys great Michael Irvin for the sixth-most touchdowns in team history.

It's a pretty fitting record to set for Elliott, who has developed a relationship with Irvin during his five-plus seasons in the NFL, which have all been played in Dallas.
Elliott even sat down with Irvin a year ago to talk about the spotlight the team is under.
