Evan Engram gives his pitch for the Jaguars to bring back Josh Allen in 2024

Josh Allen, who may, in fact, be the Jacksonville Jaguars' best player after the 2023 season, is set to become a free agent this summer unless the Jaguars franchise tags him. Now, we have seen in the past how things usually go when players get franchise-tagged. They usually hold out of training camp and even beyond.

Earlier this last week, as he was prepping for the Pro Bowl games, Allen told the media that he and the Jaguars have yet to talk about anything. He was asked what his message would be to the team, and he said, "We need to talk."

Then, his teammate at the Pro Bowl was asked about Allen and what it would mean for him to return to the team in 2024. Let's just say Evan Engram, who is also a Pro Bowler, shared his message to the franchise about why it's so important to bring Allen back.

"[Josh] has to be here," Engram told the media last week. "He's been a staple in Jax since he got there & the year that he just had; you can't let that go… I know we want him back. I know upstairs wants him back. I told him to just be patient..."
